Atlanta WP-30L for mineral-carrying trucks
Of the three AIS-140 trackers we fit, the Atlanta WP-30L is the one that goes onto most tipper and dumper fleets around Sundargarh. This page is what we would tell you across the counter.

Why this device, specifically
Atlanta Systems is one of India’s longest-standing GPS device makers, and the WP-30L is their AIS-140 certified tracker for heavy commercial vehicles. For mining work that track record matters more than any feature on the box: it is a name the authorities already know, which means fewer questions at registration.
It is also built for the conditions. Mining routes are dust, vibration and heat, and a tracker that fails in June is a truck that cannot load in June.

What it costs
₹4,500 for the device, the first year’s subscription and fitting. Renewal after that is ₹2,900 per year, per vehicle.
The price includes registering the device against your vehicle number, so the truck reports from the day it leaves us rather than from whenever the paperwork catches up.
The other two we fit
Fastrackerz and Rosmerta are both AIS-140 certified and both perfectly sound. We recommend the WP-30L by default, but if your fleet is already standardised on another brand there is no reason to mix — one app and one support number across the fleet is worth more than a marginal spec difference.
We also still fit the Atlanta E101 where a fleet is already running it. Ask and we will quote.
Getting the most out of it
Two things make the difference between a tracker that is useful and one that is just compliance. Set up viewing on the phone of whoever actually dispatches the trucks, not only the owner’s. And look at the stoppage report once a week — on mining routes it is usually the first place a problem shows up.
Common questions
- Is the Atlanta WP-30L approved for Odisha mining?
- It is AIS-140 certified for commercial vehicles, which is the standard the mining registration process works to. It is the device we fit most on mineral-carrying trucks in Sundargarh.
- What is included in the ₹4,500?
- The device, the first year’s subscription, fitting at our centre or your yard, and registration against your vehicle number.
- Will it work where there is no network?
- It stores up to 80,000 log packets offline and uploads them when the truck is back in coverage, so a stretch of no signal does not create a gap in the record.
